How are you using your mind
Do you believe the world in which you live in is an expression of how you use your mind? So, if this is really true the big question is, “How are you using your mind?”
I was listening to one of my mentors Bob Proctor as he was talking about how we’re programed to think even while we’re still in our mother’s womb. He said, “You know, the truth is, People Really Don’t Think.” He went on to talk about how we can see what level of thinking, or lack of thinking, people do by the types of conversations we have and how we spend our time.
What if I told you that your world, that is happening around you right now, is a living expression of how you are using, and have used your mind. Would you think what I’m saying is crazy?
Okay, what if I told you that if we are not using our minds to create a life we love living we are simply existing. Have you ever felt stuck like you were just existing, and don’t really love your life? This was me many years ago, and like I once heard Bob say, I would literally need to use a telescope to look back from where I have come from; both emotionally, and physically.
What is it that you would really love to be doing?
Did you know that if you spend just 15 minutes everyday giving this thought, “What is it that I would love doing,” some room in your brain to think on, this will prompt you into thinking your way to taking your dreams from a dream into a reality?
Every time you sit down to think about what it is that you would love doing for your career, in your relationships, with your health, where you would love to travel, having more time to spend with your friends & family, or the dream home you would love to own; and your mind wants to wonder, get your thought right back to what it is that you would really love to see manifest in your life. Practice holding your dreams with your will power by focusing your energy for 15 minutes a day until your dream becomes a reality.
You may have to bring your thoughts back to your dream several times a minute until you are able to hold that dream in focus so clearly like you already own it. Write it out in present form so you can look at it while you are practicing how to manifest your dreams.
This is a great way to get your mind to practice how to think. I have practiced this technique by implementing 15 minutes a day into a dream I wanted to see come true, and I watched the universe shift things around to bring my dreams into reality.
How…. I wanted to take my daughter to Texas to visit my cousin at a time that I didn’t have 2 quarters to rub together. I didn’t have a credit card to put anything like this on, and I had no idea how it was going to happen, but I knew with everything in me it was absolutely going to happen.
I began thinking about the route we would take to get to Texas, and the route we would take to get back home. I wondered what the countryside would look like, and I would ponder on the feeling of accomplishing this, and the joy of spending this time with my cousin. I would think about the weather, and what I would pack. And the more time I spent dreaming about it the closer my dream starting coming to me.
I learned that our dreams are bigger than goals, and they require us to use our intuition. As I practiced visioning my dreams as a reality I would put to pencil and paper everything that my intuition became open to receiving. Anything good that came my way I accepted and wrote it down, and the bad thoughts I pushed away! I didn’t question the good that came, I just kept my heart thankful, and my thoughts on the winning prize, the Universe had to deliver my dreams because my dreams became reality in the REAL world in which God made!
I knew that my baby girl was in her last few years of being at home before she would finish high school, and finding her own way in this big world. This thought was my motivation to give us time to make memories that would bond us even closer before her adult journey began.
The Universe did respond, and we took that journey paid in full before we left with no credit cards, or bank loans!
We visited museums, and parks, and gave each other fake southern names as we tried our best to use southern accents. We listened to the store clerk in Arkansas flirt with the local male patron over crawfishing, and we role played for a good 100 miles laughing at ourselves. The people who lived down south gave us looks like we were clowns because they could tell we weren’t even close to sounding like a local. We played license plates games as we traveled down the roads enjoying the beauty of each state, and what it offered.
I did this same practice in bringing my dreams forward to take a total of 7 trips in the next year and a half for both family fun, and to develop my skills in building one’s self image to live a life they love.
Memories are something that no one can rob you of…. What is it that you would love?
Your intuition will tell you, there is this inner voice that whispers to you, “Grow, grow!” Becoming familiar with this inner voice was a way for me to stretch my mind as I was learning to dive a little deeper on how to creatively think. This creative thinking continues to manifest my dreams into reality.
At this point I have spent the past several years watching my world change, and I know that the lives around me have changed too. I love what is happening in my bubble of the world, and I know that you can love the world around you TOO!.
Choose to think, and allow your mind to create new ways to catapult your life into the direction that you would love living!
